I think this one will end up on a postcard. He's a bit smaller than the previous chameleon I showed you all that was done quite similar to this one.

Little Book Unfinished
I'm just showing it off at the moment. It needs a bit of help before I can call it finished. What you see here is actually just the page block. I need to assemble a few more pages for the book, make the covers and put it all together before I can call it done! It's roughly 3x3 inches.
More Polish Stars!
Small one is made from magazine paper that had a picture of a cowhide rug on it. The blue one is magazine paper as well. Small one is about 2 inches, larger one, 2.5 inches.
Small pink one is made from magazine paper. Larger red one is made from wrapping paper with party balloons all over it. Small one is 2 inches, larger one is about 3 inches.
Pay no attention to that pink one, you just saw it.
The yellow one is magazine paper, roughly 2.5 inches. The picture on the magazine page was of a drawing of a pelican's head and beak.
Again, pay no attention to the pink one.
This yellow one is magazine paper also. I forget what was the cause of the yellow color on the pages. This one is about 2.5 inches.
Tiny Green Monster
Cashmere sweater for his body, velvet for his horns, plastic beads for eyes and embroidery thread for hair. He's stuffed with polyester fiber filling and stands about 7 inches tall. All hand sewn.
He is the tiny green monster because I don't usually make monsters this small. They're generally almost twice as big as this guy. This one was fun to make but those eyes make him totally inappropriate for small children. All the big monsters are perfectly safe for the youngest of children.
I have more art finished but it has yet to be scanned yet.
I attempted to put the buckyball together but that was a total disaster! I forgot to take a picture of it when I was in the kitchen photographing the polish stars earlier today. It turned out looking like a hatched egg, giant hole and all! Not sure where I went wrong with it. There is no saving it! It will end up as fodder for some other mixed media project.
We had ourselves a really cool lightning storm the day before yesterday! I was outside after the storm taking pictures of the wheatfield out north of the house, trying to capture that beautiful gold color with the sun shining through the rain clouds. It was gorgeous.
Ma called while I was out there and asked if I had seen the rainbow. Nope hadn't spied it yet. Couldn't see it while standing on the porch at all. So went out to the driveway where I captured both ends of the rainbow and really cool flash of lighting as well!
Enjoy!
You can barely see the rainbow, but it's between the left side pole of the highwire line and the lightning bolt. That big yellow blob on the pole is the yard light. It comes on fairly early in the evening. This was around 9pm or there abouts if memory serves me correctly.
I didn't even know I'd taken a picture of lightning. Too bad it's not a good picture of lightning! Lightning nonetheless though!
And here's the other end of the double rainbow. Here we are looking south across the highway. In the other picture, we are looking east down the highway.
I'll be back in a few days with more art to share!
You all be good to one another!
Thanks for reading!
Peace, friends!
