Four little fishes done on book page paper in markers.

Will use these, probably for a few little book covers.

The largest fish is about 3 inches long.

Yellow and Purple Fish Mug Rug

Wool sweater material, felt, embroidery thread. This one still needs a backing which will be more sweater material from a different sweater.
I need to do a fabric hunt in the stash for some more wool sweaters. I do enjoy sewing appliques on felted wool!

This was a fun project. It's a zippered plastic storage bag covered in red duct tape with a yellow and purple duct tape duck.

You take a new sandwich baggie, quart size freezer bag, whatever size you want ... just make sure it has a slide zip and cover it with duct tape on both sides. You have yourself a sturdy little pouch for carrying all kinds of things. This one is a quart storage bag. Not sure of the dimensions.

Sewn Wool Sheep Magnets

I would have liked this white sweater better without all the ribbon embroidery that was on it but it came with the embroidery and that's just the way it was. I work with what I have ... therefore my sheep have pastel ribbon flowers and Xs of them. I used very little of the fabric obtained from that felted sweater for these here sheep. Their heads and legs are the remnants of the black wool all the mug rugs are made with. I also got a hot pot mat, a couple monsters and the black cat stuffie out of that sweater! We'll see what else pops up from the white sweater in the future. There's still quite a lot of it left. The heads are held on with the two french knots acting as eyes. A few of them are stitched at the end of their noses with the black thread used to attach their legs.

Need to buy some more polyfil before I can make anymore monsters.

Chenille Stem Cat

aka pipe cleaners. I put the black lines on the orange stems with a sharpie before I twisted the kitty into shape. He's got a magnet fragment on the back side of him.

I'll be making more of these little guys in other colors.

I need to get busy on the flamingo again. My sister asked after him the other day....
