Today is Sunday... It Just Got Started

Hello All!
It's a CAT weekend. I've been busy making ATCs the last 36 hours, give or take. I did get some sleep in that time frame. You only get to see two of them tonight though cause I'm too tired to talk about all of them in depth like I'm gonna talk about these two. Maybe not the fish.
This is "Fish In Blue". I really like this card. I kinda hope no one takes it for awhile. I shoulda put some metallic blue paper behind that fish instead of the gray polka dots. Love those microbeads. Cool little devils, those! That white string those little gold microbeads are attached to is the string from Fred's dog food bag. That string is some cool stuff, too. Can't find string like that anywhere except on a big bag of pet foot. It comes in red too.
I really wish the scanner didn't wash out the colors so bad. All of this artwork is much more vibrant than the scanner allows you to see.

I made both of these cards for the Collage-A-Thon (CAT) over at ATCsforall.com this weekend. I've made a total of 15 cards this weekend so far. I'll probably make more tomorrow. I got a few ideas swimming around upstairs.

This is King Clyde. I have no idea what this man's real name is. He does have one! I found his face in the January report from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. I wonder what he would think if he came across this ATC with his face emblazoned on it? I don't mean any disrespect to his intelligence, his anything really. It was a draw of fate, I guess. If he hadn't been in the magazine for his achievements then I wouldn't have ever found the man. When I described this ATC in my gallery, I said this was his outfit for Mardi Gras. I don't know if he actually attended Mardi Gras, but whose to say he didn't wear a king's outfit if he did go?
The bad thing (or maybe it's not a bad thing at all?) is I made three different cards with three different men on them today. Two kings, one farmer. I think I'll make some more of these fellas. A guy in a space suit would be pretty cool.
OK, I admit it. I need (help) sleep.
Fred's raising cane in the livingroom. The two stray dogs must be back again. Not sure where those two medium canines came from. They've been hanging around the neighborhood all evening. Fred chased em off a little while ago. He can't go out again. I won't allow it.
I'm back. Fred's gone out and come back in again. The two dogs nowhere in sight.
I'm heading off to bed. Farmer Earl makes 15 cards done thus far. I'll show you more later today. I got a nice stack of cards that will be going to somewhere else come Tuesday. I hope to make that stack grow this afternoon and evening.
You all have a peachy-keen Sunday. I'll come yak at you later today.
Nighty night!

A Cold Thursday, An ATC and Another Boatload of Inchies

Good Morning Good Readers!

I'm settling in with my first cup of coffee for the day. I'll have drank at least a whole pot before the day is through. What is on the agenda for the day? Art, as usual. The dishes need done too. I tried doing trees and monochromatics yesterday but everything I tried looked like a five year old had been playing in the paints so I gave up on trees and monochromatics. I did get the ladybugs done for one of my red chunky pages but they've yet to be put on a page.

This ATC was done last week. It is sharpies on illustration board. I was on an art safari on the internet and came across this painting by Esther Albone with the title of "You and Eye". Her painting is done in oils and is square (not sure the size of her's but mine is 2.5 x 3.5 inches). I thought it was really cool and decided to do my own rendition of it. It looks a lot like Esther's but it has elements of my own in it as well. I don't so much consider it an original because I did swipe the idea for it. It turned out rather nicely nonetheless though. She explains the painting as being the cells of one's body and how we are connected to ourselves through our eyes. Or something like that. She said it a lot more eloquently than I can this morning!

Fred has been out and wanted back in already this morning. I got up about an hour ago. Need to call the vet for some worm medicine. Someone (cat? dog? your guess is as good as my own) left a pile of puke on my bedroom floor full of round worms. It was rather disgusting! Should probably give everyone a good dose of the worm cure.
I have two cats sitting here in the deskroom watching me type. Doob wants to get on the desk real badly! She's sitting on the chair next to me, nudging my left arm with her nose every now and then. Miss Blue is asleep on top of the monitor. Billy's asleep in the livingroom with Fred on the sofa. Bill acted like he wanted out a little while ago but when I opened the front door, the sunshine blinded him and he ran back into the kitchen with other plans for the time being.
Just to look outside, it appears to be quite warm out there. But open the door and you'll feel the cold. There's a slight breeze out there making it feel even colder than it is. I didn't look to see what the thermometer in the livingroom is saying about the temp outside. It's about 57 inside though.
I got all my inchies scanned yesterday afternoon. I took them over to my sister's house to count them by laying them out on her diningroom table. I did 67 inchies in the last few days. 12 of them yesterday.

Some of them turned out really well. Some of them are alright and a few of them suck big time. My favorites from this batch are the gray cat washing his face, the yellow cat licking his leg, the yellow cat asleep atop the fence, the green lizard wearing a red shirt and the green martini.
I don't have near as many inchies done as I thought I had. (It is known fact I don't know how to count!) In the box where I keep the completed inchies, there are 249 of them. I counted the number inchies I did awhile back for a swap among the 1000 goal, but those cannot be counted cause I don't even have some of them anymore. Still have no idea what the devil I'm gonna do with 1000 inchies.....guess I'll figure that out next year when I have 1000 inchies to deal with.
I started a new book last night. I forget the name of it. It's about the old west; wagon trails, ghost towns and the like. It's basically a picture journey but there are almost 400 pages in the book and over half of them are nothing but text! I read 92 pages last night and will read it till I've completed it. It's quite interesting actually.
I will be heading out to the storage trailer later this afternoon to find an easle I'm not even sure I still own....though I don't remember getting rid of it either. Has to be out there somewhere! It used to sit in the corner of the closet here in the deskroom but since I rearranged that closet I had to send it elsewhere. I'll find it. Maybe RJ can point me in the right direction. I'll ask him this evening if I don't find it this afternoon.
I'm going to Pburg for supper with T, RJ, Brenton and T's mom who is visiting for a few days.
I could have gone on a roadtrip Tuesday night but I declined the offer. Not cause I didn't want to go! I'd of jumped in that van in a heartbeat if I trusted the damn thing to get me 100 miles down the road and back home again. I could use an adventure about now.
I really don't know what I will get accomplished today....whatever it is.....I better get cracking on it! First thing is to go across the highway and get yesterday and today's snail mail out of the big black mailbox. Perhaps there will be something good in there! I need to pay the electric bill and the telephone bill today also.
I do hope all is well with John. We've not heard from him in some time on his blog. I hope he's well rested and things are going good for him! Be Well, John!
Whatever you got on your agenda today, I hope it's a good day for you! Go collect yourself some hugs. I'll come yak at you all another day!
Peace

I'm Home

I've been home for hours actually. I got a chicken baking in the oven, sitting in front of this wretched machine listening to music and coloring the inchie drawings I did on the roadtrip to Abilene. There were ten of those. You'll not see them or any other art for this post. I haven't gotten any scanned to show to you. Drawing in the back seat of a moving car is not such an easy to do! I was only doing line drawings in black fine point sharpie with all intention of coloring them in when I got home. There would have been more but Brenton kept asking to use my lap desk to play with his three matchbox cars. He kept putting that yellow firetruck in his sock that was on his foot! It looked like it hurt to be there! He said it didn't though. He's such a silly kid! He drew a few ATCs for me while I drew inchies though. He used the phone book on one of my pillows for his desk. But drawing got boring for him after about 50 miles and I gave up the lap desk so it could be used for a racetrack.
The drive to Abilene was quite fun. The kids listen to decent music and Brenton and I agree totally on the music we were offered. Everytime a song that I am not fond of came on, Brenton would say, "Next one, please." and either RJ or Terah would make it go to the next song.
Rich stayed home. I'm not too happy with that boy about it either. Wasn't nothing I could do to make him go though. He took his oldest, Gage, who is 10, fishing on Saturday instead. His granny missed him terribly!
Edna was totally surprised to see all her people there. She didn't know anything about the party beforehand. Jason had called her earlier in the week to tell her not to make any plans cause he, April and their four girls were gonna take her out on her birthday. She tried getting out that right off the bat...but April is pretty persuasive and they pulled it off. The only two who weren't there were Brett and RW. Both grandsons. Had they shown there would have been 22 people there. I'm not sure how many kids Brett has. Last time I saw him he was about three foot tall! It was a good time had by all. Cindy is to send me some pictures from the wingding. T and RJ forgot to take their camera. I'm glad I went.
The mode of transportation to get there changed drastically though. Susan got asked out Friday for Saturday and she was quite pleased with that turn of events so she opted out of going and I rode with RJ instead. That mans that I did not get to have lunch with Barry in Salina though. And I forgot to call him and tell him I wouldn't be coming to Salina afterall. He called shortly after I got home and accepted my apology for forgetting to call him. He had company all day on Saturday anyway so lunch may have been out of the question regardless. I will make another lunch date with Barry. I'd really like to catch up with him.
I came home to a clean house again. Ma finished up my laundry, changed the sheets on my bed, mopped the bathroom and kitchen floors, put all the laundry away that I did on Friday and she did up the few dishes I left in the sink. I called her when I got home and thanked her. She said she didn't have anything else to do and did I have a good time? She helped Susan hang curtains and some other things in Susan's bedroom. They did a whole lot in Susan's bedroom over the last few weeks. Susan had new carpet laid and Ma helped put a lot of her things away after that was done. I ain't the only one she helps out. She has a lot more energy than anyone I know!
I got a lead on a commissioned etching while I was in Abilene. Roy wants two wolves etched on the little side windows on his truck. That won't take place till it warms up some though. Not sure if I'll be going to Hutchinson or if they will come to me. Doesn't really matter either way. I can travel or they can. The etchings will take about ten hours total etching time. We'll figure it all out when I get the drawings done and Roy approves them. It will be the same wolf on either side so I've only one drawing to do actually.
I worked some monochromatic chunky pages when I got home. Got four of them done on the fronts. Still have four more fronts to do and all the backs and the danglies. Trees are on the agenda next.
That chicken is smelling mighty good! I'm out of here for now. I need to go take it out of the oven. It's been in there almost four hours now. I had to cook it tonight. It's been in the fridge for four days and it wasn't gonna last much longer uncooked. I'm having chicken for breakfast!
You all have a fabulous Monday! I'll give it my best shot!
I got an over abundance of hugs yesterday and today so I'm good to go .... now, you all go get yourselves an over abundance of hugs this coming week! I shall yak at you all another day!
Peace

Friday Was a Good Day...

Yes, indeed it was a good Friday~! I went thrifting with Ma and Susan. Evelyn was along for part of that ride. I got a new purse, RJ a bag like he wanted, some magazines to cut up for art, (like I NEEDED more magazines! I only got a stack about a two foot high that haven't even been looked at yet! These three from the thrift store, though, I did not have any of them.) Ma found me a Big Dog Tshirt and I got four little books on various subjects. I saw Helena at the thrift shop in Stockton. She was on her lunch break. It was good to see her!
We had lunch at the Chubby Pickle in Pburg. It's a burger joint...I had a Chubby sub with tator tots and lemonade. Susan had a grilled chicken pita sandwich with baked beans and soda and Ma had a small bacon cheeseburger with baked beans and water. Ma always drinks water when we go out to eat. I'd be 85 cents richer if I'd of done the same thing! Lunch was fun!
Susan wanted me to pluck that baby bromelaid plant out of that big pot sitting on the butcher block table right behind me. She doesn't have a bromelaid plant and she thought it was pretty cool. I told her baby snatching was against the law. Ma said, "Any babies?" The pair of them! We did not leave with a baby bromelaid. It is still snug in its pot with mama unless someone is much more brazen than I and doesn't think baby snatching is any big deal (when we're talking plants). Lunch was fun!!
My friend from down south of me called this evening. It was really good to hear from him. Thanks for the conversation and the laughs, Mick.
My plans for tomorrow are somewhat changed. I am going to Abilene. I'm just not sure at the moment which mode of transportation I'll be arriving in. Susan has a date tomorrow night and has abondanded me. I am quite alright with that choice. It is midnight and I haven't called RJ to tell him that I do not have a ride unless I do indeed take the van but the van is grounded. It cannot go to Abilene. I do not trust the silly thing. Susan said I could borrow her car but she wasn't real crazy about that idea and neither am I, really. I'm gonna have to get up pretty early to call RJ to pick my hide up on his way through and I'll just have to call Barry and tell him plans have changed cause RJ and RW are planning on coming home tomorrow. Down there and back again. I won't be in Abilene on Sunday if I ride with the boys.
It's not that I don't want to go....but I don't want to go. No. I won't complain! I'll do what is right and wish that old woman a happy birthday. I'll enjoy the company and go with the flow. I'd really like to stay till Sunday though... not so much to have lunch with Barry, but to be able to spend some time with Marilyn and Kathy. That won't be happening this trip.
Well whatever's gonna happen, I need some sleep to get through it all tomorrow. That means I gotta get off this machine and head to my bed.
I will yak at you all probably on Monday. I should have some more inchies to scan by then. No pictures to show you all today.

Half a Gross of Inchies

I've been a busy girl. Whimsical Cats yesterday and now a boatload of inchies. I stayed up all night (again) playing with my markers, getting closer to the goal of 1000 inchies before the year is out. I'm up to 215 scanned as of this moment. I thought I had an even 6 dozen but I was one off so there's fodder in the inchie blank box for more inchies to appear.

My favorite in this batch above is either the little red hen or the third one from the left, top row. I'm not crazy about the face in the third row, far right. And the elephant ain't bad either, but he's plenty of room for improvement.
Miss Blue turned evil in the last row, far right. I can draw much better cats than that! I like a few in this batch. The rooster is my favorite, then the sumac leaves, the rider, the pink cup is pretty funky! I like the chair also.

I did a number of eyes on this installment but the eye in this batch top row, far left, is by far my favorite eye of the night. PUP is a nickname I go by. Got some boots down there in the bottom row, just made for walkin'. (In tribute to that handsome cowboy who let me sneak peeks while he ate his lunch.) My favorite in this batch is the pink flower, upper row, far right.

The only one in this batch that doesn't really move me is the pink heart. The flying fish in the lower left corner doesn't do much for me either. I especially like the fishing scene, big/little fish in the lower row, clown fish in upper row, far left and the red heart with the checkered background.

The eye in this batch turned out really well too. The music inchie is my favorite from this batch, though the lavendar farm in the lower right corner turned out quite good also. I can't find much wrong with any of these actually.

Then we went on a jester kick. I was looking through image files that I have on this machine and came across JOKERS in my art morgue. The jesters here are inspired by jokers from playing card decks. My favorite of this batch though, is the red sail boat. I like the gingko plant on the top row too.
Took me forever.... but..... I got it figured that if I do 100 inchies a month, I'll have this goal within easy reach. I didn't do all 72 of these last night...I think there were 6, maybe 8 of them in the little bag in the inchie blank box when I started around 11 last night. Don't see blowing this goal as a problem at all!
I have no idea what I will do with them all. Trade some. But the others? Not a clue! Maybe I'll make some little blank books and use inchies to decorate the covers? Maybe they'll just sit in a box and my sons can figure out what to do with all that original art once I'm gone? I really haven't a clue at this point!
That laundry did not get done yesterday.
I'm kind of in a funk. Not artwise, obviously...I stayed up all night, keeping my hands and mind busy so I didn't have to think about a sadness that has crept into my life. It's nothing earth-shattering. It's not going to be the end of me by any means, but it breaks my heart cause I don't want to lose what has been there for all these years. I don't know how to go about bringing back the joy sadness has replaced. I'm tempted to just storm the joint and have my say... but I'm not one to 'rock the boat'. I'm not even sure the sadness I feel is felt by others in this situation. I've some pondering to do on this matter and art seems to help with that even though sleep isn't in the equation.
I wouldn't have slept had I actually climbed in my bed at a decent hour anyway. I only slept for four hours before the thoughts invaded and woke me. I don't know why 'hello' is such a hard word to say to a friend. I didn't even get a 'hello' when my phone rang last night. Just a question that required a short answer and nothing else, "I have to go!" Why? Twelve years invested and hello isn't even on the agenda? It saddens me. We used to have conversations that lasted for more than a few seconds every few weeks. Those conversations mattered to me.
I'll work this out....one way or another. Sometimes friendships die. That's a fact of life, but it is a sad ordeal to endure the end.
I am going to Abilene on Saturday. I do believe I'll drive myself there and stay till Sunday. RJ and Terah are under the assumption I will ride with them. Saturday I'm going to my mother-in-law's 80th birthday party. I'll be seeing folks I've not seen in awhile. I need to call RJ and ask him if RW is going too. No, no. RW is going. He doesn't have a choice. I say he's going. Might have to make a run to Pburg to talk to RW and tell him just that, too.
Barry lives in Salina, which is about 20 miles east of Abilene. He called me a few weeks ago out of the blue. I'd love to catch up with him. I need to call him and see if he'll have lunch with me on Sunday.
I didn't go to town to sit with the girls last night. I believe they've outgrown needing a sitter. That has me in a funk, too. I've spent most Mondays for the last 11 years sitting with S and A. They grew up and no longer need me. It feels terrible not to be needed anymore.
I know I'm needed in other arenas and that softens the blow some. It's a time of transformations for me and I'm having a bit of anxiety about the changes forthcoming. They aren't of the good kind. I don't like change... routine suits me fine....I need constants.
I need to get off this wretched machine and do something productive, like laundry. The thought of laundry abhors me! I don't mind doing laundry so much. It's getting it all to the laundry room that is a pain in the ass for me. It's hard work! Has to be done though and ain't anyone but me around to do it! So.....
You all have a terrific Tuesday! I'm gonna give it a shot...I'll shoot for the best and pay heed to the sunshine that's sure to be there somewhere! I might even snatch me a hug or two along the journey!
Peace, my friends!

A Whole Bunch of Kitties

Hello Friends!
I've nothing but kitties to talk about today! I finally finished the Whimsical Cats for the swap and, lucky you, get to be the first to see them!
Here we go.....

Reservations?--Sharpies on beer coaster. I stole the cartoon...wish I'd of written down the cartoonist who originally drew it, but I didn't. The mouse on the backside is mine. Danglies include: vintage rickrack, hem lace, seam binding and some more seam binding.

Purple Cat- (That's real original for a title!) Sharpies and dimensional paint on beer coaster. Danglies include: nylon seam binding, vintage rickrack, vintage fancy rickrack and thin purple ribbon.

Orange Kitties- (No need to get fancy with the titles beings I don't really title Chunky Pages anyway!) Collage....Little Kitty is an orange paint sample, Big Kitty is an ad for Tide laundry soap that came in the mail. The background picture is of a bunch of people wearing orange shirts, it came from a recycling business magazine. We also have orange cardstock. Googly eyes, wire whiskers, sharpies mouths. Those two white stones are genuine opals. Danglies include: Vintage rickrack, seam binding in orange and brown and vintage lace. All is attached to recycled chipboard. I didn't show you the back cause the back has only a picture of fall leaves in shades of orange that came from junk mail from my ISP and some more of that orange cardstock from the front side.

Cowboy Kitty- fabric leaf, book page with words painted green with printer's ink, green tissue paer, gun came from a catalog, kitty is from a bag of cat food, horse came from a ranching magazine, quote (which says: When I was kid, if a guy got killed in a Western movie I always wondered who got his horse. George Carlin) came from the same magazine as the horse. The green hat is freehand cut from cardstock. It's all attached to thick chipboard from a game box. Danglies include: knubby yarn, vintage hem lace, cotton seam binding and novelty yarn.

Kid Cat Rock Super Star! - I'm keeping Kid Cat only because he's too darned thick to send through the mail. Cat is made from paper clay, his eyes are gemstones...jasper, I think and his whiskers are wire. His guitar is made of balsa wood painted with printer's ink, sharpies and white-out. His guitar cord is coated wire.
Backside of Cat Kid-- I built the amp out of balsawood, wire screen from a filter of some sort, assorted beads and the guitar hooks into it from the front side. The guitar is, again, built from balsawood and painted ith sharpies. The microphone is a shell bead with a string glued to the underside and a little red pompom (painted with a black sharpie) glued to the working end of it. I've yet to add my details to the back and the danglies ain't been added either. It is all attached to a beer coaster.

By The Grace of God Kitty- Collage of text pages painted green with printer's ink, the kitty is green cardstock painted with printer's ink, a googly eye, a tiny chunk of coal for his nose and wire whiskers. Theres a tiny mirror in the lower right corner attached to an inchie made from cardstock. The 'box' the cat is sitting on is a piece of cardstock with various bits of fabric sewn onto it. I got it in an envelope with ATCs in a trade. The Bible passage came from a box of such. They are in primary colors and I use them frequently, though not always with the Bible passage showing. There's a length of green ribbon from one of my Christmas presents there also. All is attached to a thick pc of chipboard from a game box.
Blue Serenader- I'd call this guy a rock star but he just doesn't fit the stereotype! So....We have a cat made from a fleece sweatshirt my sister gave to me because it has a couple of spots on it and I wanted the penguins on it to use for a book cover. Cat has genuine citrine hearts for his eyes along with cardstock on the eyes, wire whiskers, a genuine lapis lazuli triangle for his nose. The guitar is balsawood painted with Sharpies, gold thread for the strings and beads for the tuners. We have cardstock, recycled chipboard and lace behind Blue. That sparkly stuff is glitter. It is all attached to recycled chipboard. You don't see the backside cause it is nothing but a pc of light blue cardstock. I've yet to add the danglies to this one.
Two Blue Kitties- The background is a page from a magazine with glitter sprinkled on it, and a bit of lace across the page. Both kitties are freehand cut from paint samples. They have googly eyes, wire whiskers, sharpie mouths and the blue stones on their chests are genuine lapis lazuli stones. The cloud they're sitting on is from that blue sweatshirt from my sister, the heart is fabric with a genuine aqaumarine stone. All is attached to a beer coaster. The danglies include: knubby yarn, cotton seam binding, ribbon and nylon seam binding. The back isn't anything special, just a piece of cardstock and square cut from a calendar that I wrote my details on. Both are in the shades of blue found on the front side.

Three Green Kitties- Collage - Kitties are all green paint samples in various colors with cardstock cutouts covering the writing on the paint samples, googly eyes, sharpie mouths, wire whiskers and a genuine opal in each of their chests. We have cardstock and wrapping paper from a box of chocolates on the background. The back is that same wrapping paper with my details written in sharpie. Danglies include: Vintage rickrack, knubby yarn, and ribbons.

Aztec Cat- Sharpies and dimensional paint on beer coaster. Danglies include: organza ribbon, knubby yarns, vintage hem lace, and vintage seambinding. This is the frontside.
This is the backside of Aztec Cat. Sharpies on beer coaster.
Now all that is left to do is package them up and send them off to Oregon for the swap. I'll do that in a little while. First I'm off to shower!
I shall talk to you all later perhaps. If not later, then probably tomorrow. I've a big day ahead of me!
You all have a great Monday!
Peace

Weird Weather, A Bit of Art and Just Me Rambling

The weather has been very weird these last few days. Thursday saw temperature in the upper 70s F. Friday night into Saturday morning brought about an inch of snow and Saturday it warmed up enough to melt the snow by mid-day. Not really strange for Kansas though...
This crazy weather plays havoc with my old body though. I much prefer it to be warm and wish it would hurry up and stay warm for awhile! Spring will arrive eventually though....

I've worked on some ATCs in the past few days when I wasn't asleep. Saturday was totally lost to sleep.
Vino- Sharpies on recycled chipboard.

Lizard Rainbow-I collaberated with my little friend Allison on this one. She drew the rainbow and I did the lizard. Sharpies on recycled chipboard.

Killer Butts- I kinda stole this idea from a postcard on Post Secret. Sharpies on thin cardboard from toy packaging. Backed with recycled chipboard.

Calligraphy Horse- Sharpies on charcoal paper backed with recycled chipboard.
I've been working on Chunky pages since I got up at 4 this morning. I'm all but done with the whimsical cats. All that is needed is to add the danglies, scan them and put them in an envelope to send them out. I should have them finished sometime today. I'll show them to you all when I get them scanned.
I've also been working on a few monochromatic Chunky pages. Those are far from being done though.
I finally got the addresses to send the money fish and money trees to so they are on the agenda as well for this afternoon. I can get all six of those done in one afternoon, no problem! I have a whole list of artwork that needs to be done. I really wanted to add a few more to that list in the form of swaps over at AFA but I declined. I need to finish up what's on my plate before getting more on it.
I just came from the other end of the house where my bed is located. There was Fred all sprawled out on my bed with his head on my pillow, snoring his life away. He gave up that business of sleeping in my bed for quite some time. Now all of a sudden he's taken it up again. All three cats asleep on that bed as well. It still floors me that Doob lets him sleep on that bed!
I have laundry on my agenda for the day. The closet is not empty by any means but the laundry hasn't been done for what seems like weeks. It hasn't been weeks, but it has been too long! I don't mind doing laundry. I just don't like hauling it to the laundry room to do it! That wears me out.
I dyed my hair last week and not a person noticed I had done so. No one noticed the last time either though so this didn't surprise me at all. RJ said he didn't notice cause every time he sees me I have my head half-covered by my blankets cause I'm asleep in my bed. That isn't true though. I was sitting in the back seat of their car riding down the highway when I mentioned it to him and T. I'd been with them for hours before I'd mentioned it! It's not anywhere near my natural color now. It's a bit more red than I wanted it to be but I'm stuck with it for the time being. I just wanted to cover up the abundance of gray that showed up at the beginning of the month when RJ had surgery and RW was on his kick. The pair of those boys are the only things I worry about to any extent. Worry doesn't really cause gray hairs but ... I like to think it might.
I really have little to ramble on about this morning so I'll leave you with this:
When you stop caring whether people think you're crazy or not, you can get a lot of interesting things done.
Have yourselves a splendid Sunday and a fantastic week ahead!
I'll come yak at you all some other day when I have something important or entertaining to talk about! You might even get important and entertaining in one post.... stranger things have happened! :)
Peace
